Month Two Career Break Recap

Month two of our career break was a whirlwind of beautiful European cities with late summer weather! 

We started off September at Plitvice Lakes National Park - it's a breathtaking natural wonder and somewhere we'd recommend! 

We then headed to the coastal town of Split, where we enjoyed amazing beaches & strolled around the old city. We left split on a ferry for Mljet Island & National park, this hidden treasure was one of our favorite stops! 

As we wrapped up the Croatian leg of our trip, we enjoyed 4 Spanish cities - Madrid, Valencia, Benicassim & of course Barcelona. Although Spain was still very crowded in the late summer we had a great time, especially exploring Benicassim which took us away from the crowds to a quaint beach town. 

Wrapping up September in Montpellier, France was perfect. We loved the French charm, great food & ways to connect with nature. October will start in Paris before taking the big flight to Japan!
