Spend Three Days in Montpellier, France

Three Days in Montpellier:

Montpellier is a beautiful costal town in the South of France. We enjoyed several days there at the end of September and loved the French culture with laid back costal vibes. There is lots to do from exploring the cultural aspects of the city, relaxing at a beautiful beach or biking past flamingos!

Day One:

· Breakfast of French pasties at Pain Brut or one of the many cute cafes in town

· Walk around & explore the city- starting with Place De la Comedie

· Head to Fromagerie Origine - ask to make a personal cheese platter to go. Make sure to agree on price up front and tell them what kinds of cheese you prefer.

· Stop at Dreams & Bread to get a baguette!

· Walk down Rue Foch to view the Arc De Triomphe

· Head to Jardin Des Plantes to enjoy the beautiful gardens & eat your snacks

· Visit the Montpellier cathedral before dinner

· Enjoy dinner at Broc Cafe or Rosemarie

Day two:

· Grab pastries at your local cafe

· Rent a bike - we rented at Saco Velo, but this is a bit far from the beach. There are also several self service bike stations throughout the city. This was such a fun experience to ride along the many paths, we opted for one that allowed us to see flamingos and horses as we rode towards the beach!

· Have dinner at Marche De Lez - there is even a big path that runs along the backside if you want to keep the biking going! This is a food hall with lots of great options.

Day 3:

· Enjoy one of the many beautiful beaches - our favorite is Caron Plage!
